Welcome to the Police Association of New Orleans new web app. This app represents a leap forward in the next generation of apps to provide the men and women of the New Orleans Police Department a useful tool in their daily workflow.
PWA stands for Progressive Web App. PWAs can be installed on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop and will function similar to a native app. It is not necessary to install the app though. The pano1544.org website will function just fine in any web browser and will automatically format itself for any device.
This app supports Favorites. You can bookmark your most commonly used items that are part of the native app. For example, you can bookmark the Miranda Warning, Traffic Code, and Domestic Violence Questions if those are the items you use the most. As soon as you launch the app, you can click Favorites, and you'll have everything you need quickly and easily. You can also easily remove any unneeded bookmarks.
One of the most requested features was added to this app: Quick Note. Quick note is just that, a place where you can make a quick note or reminder for yourself. It's very simple and easy to use.
PANO members get additional benefits such as being able to post Comments on articles and events. By visiting the members area, you can comment and discuss any articles or events with your fellow PANO members or PANO board.
One feature that really helps our members, is Push Messaging. If you install our Progressive Web App (PWA) and enable messaging, you should receive the push messages that we send out whether it's on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.
There is also a built-in Search feature to help you find what you are looking for in the app.

We also incorporated as much information as possible to help make this your launching site for the officers of the New Orleans Police Department to assist them in their daily work.
